2.Reform/Making that Change
1.Choosing Your Issue
2.Review: Four Goals of Progressivism
3.Choose a format to present your issue (Some form of presentation, such as a song, dance, PPT, speech, etc.)
(MORE INFO/RUBRIC ON FRIDAY)
3.MLK, Jr.: "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'”
1.Ideas for Service Friday: PERIOD 1: MOTIVATIONAL POSTERS/TEACHER HELP?
4.HW:

1.Explain how your issue fits (or doesn’t) within the four goals of progressivism.
EX: If you are supporting concussion awareness in high school sports, this would probably fit within the goal of "Promoting Social Welfare" because it helps to protect the minds/bodies of athletes in the community and beyond. (More in-depth explanation would be better!)
2.Research Your Issue: What efforts are already being made to further your cause?
EX: If you are supporting concussion awareness in high school sports, discuss what high schools, junior high schools, elementary schools, the NFL, etc. are doing to also create awareness and establish safer conditions for players to avoid concussions, brain damage, etc.
