Roaring Twenties Poster Project: Creating your visual aid

nHW DUE: Capitalism & Communism
nToday’s Focus: Creating your Visual Aid (3-D OBJECTS OK!)
nHave fun with this! DRAW/CREATE YOUR OWN STUFF
CREATING YOUR OWN ART IS MUCH PREFERRED AND WILL BE MORE GREATLY APPRECIATED (AND ASSESSED HIGHER) THAN PRINTING PICTURES AND SLAPPING THEM ON YOUR POSTER...
Create an ad; paint; take a photo; draw your person, place, or event; collage; recreate artwork/photo; draw a (political) cartoon; a short poem/quote/song lyric; print a picture of your person AND draw, do a combination of these, etc…

Here are some examples of images/poster ideas:

n8.5” x 11” MINIMUM, BIGGER OK; colors, no pencil, clearly indicates topic

nDon’t forget Registration is due tomorrow!
nCome talk to me @ options
nHW: Communism/Capitalism DBQs
nPlease analyze/explain the documents rather than quote the original source verbatim (DUE on FRIDAY!)
For example: when doc says to list two ways a worker's standard of living is improved in a communist society, don't just write: "workers receive free medical care". Explain what that means, what that tells us about a communist society and how it tries to help workers.
